Collect all 52 cards to win. Cards are dealt evenly. On your turn, play a card face-up onto the center pile. Slap the pile at the right moment to win all the cards in it. The last player with cards wins.
When to Slap
JACK
Any Jack lands on the pile — slap immediately.
DOUBLE
Two cards of the same rank land back-to-back.
SANDWICH
The top card matches the card two below it (e.g. 7 · 3 · 7).
Optional rules (Marriage, 6-7, Adds to 10) can be toggled in setup.
Face Card Tribute
Playing a face card forces the next player to pay tribute — they must play a set number of cards:

Cancels tribute — face card player must pay instead
If tribute runs out without a Jack, the face card player wins the pile. They must press SPACE to collect.
Hesi (False Slap)
Slapping when there's nothing to slap is a hesi — you burn cards from your hand to the bottom of the pile as a penalty. Playing a card out of turn also counts as a hesi.
The burn penalty starts at 1 card and escalates as players are eliminated.
Slap Back In
Run out of cards? You get 2 chances to slap back in while the pile still has cards. A successful slap gets you back in the game. Miss both and you're eliminated.
